My d-pillar trim broke off and I'm waiting for the dealership to call me when the replacement part arrives. I'm thinking of somehow running my four-pin trailer cable from the connector through the bottom of the car (somehow) and behind the interior trim to the top of the liftgate (but it will probably still be visible, no big deal though). Do you have any diagrams of the rear D-pillar area?

I think there is a breather vent behind the bumper cap on the driver or passenger side for the interior. It's a flapper type device to vent the interior air to the outside. Or maybe I'm thinking of another vehicle. You might check up behind the cap in any case. It might be viable for another entry for a couple wires. If you drill a new hole, be sure to use a rubber grommet to prevent shaffing.
