Well I knew about that adapter, but I meant more so not having to do any type of modifications. I know the new radio would have a radio adapter and you could get one to hook into factory so no cutting. Because you did not see my response. I said I know about the adapters, but I do not want to have to cut the dash or anything. Stock is stock, and aftermarket is aftermarket. They do not play well with each other. If you want to not "mod" anything, stay stock. If you want something better, get the wiring harness and adapters you need, and plug-and-play with aftermarket.

There is a maker of direct replacement HU's on Crutchfield but their selection is limited. They do not have anything for the Escape.
