I picked up a used 2010 Escape 2 weeks ago. It has the bulk of the factory warrenty left on it.
Today I noticed the right front speaker just sounded distorted when playing certain music.
Does anyone know if Ford will cover this under warrenty?

I get it too from the drivers side, especially when using the Sirius. But I've been squawking so much about the driveline vibration I figured I'd just wait till the next service. No sense making enemies at a good dealer.....

Honda replaced a crackling speaker under the 3/60 bumper to bumper for me...I see no reason why Ford wouldn't either.

Of course, I could bite the bullet and just go out an buy BETTER front speakers and install them myself anyway. The fronts on this car are pretty tinny (the back ones are pretty impressive though)

Yup take it back, could be a connection (solder point) on the speaker itself. KMOOSE, the back speakers do sound good but they are same speakers all around. I think its the HU processor that makes the back sound more bold (bass)
