Anyone have a product like this.
I have a mastiff he's 125lbs not the best legs.
I'm wondering if any users have a product like this and how you like it. Does it fold up nice.

My dog is my kid. Goes everywhere with me.
I will!! Be post pics in the pet pic section

Here's a website I found:

http://www.petstep.com/

And I've seen them in pet stores too, like Petsmart. They seem to be pretty pricey though.

When we used to have a bigger dog (she's in Doggy Heaven now) my hubby improvised with a wide piece lumber and covered in with a bath rug so she wouldn't slip. It worked really well so if you're crafty or handy in that way, that might suit your needs.

I'm not a fan of the ramps. If our doggies can't make the leap up, then I grab them (the big ones we have had/have) with a bear hug, usually their front on my left side and their butt on my right side, and I do a squat-lift. Exit them the reverse way, but with the same body orientation. It's much more safe for the dog, and there is no ramp to slip, slide, fold, unfold, store, manipulate... You know what I mean, eh?

There were some available on ebay a few months back. They looked pretty good. I bought a kennel cage from the person offering the ramps, but did not buy a ramp. Maybe if I get a second or two I'll find the purchase and see if they are still in business/have a link for you to peruse their offerings. ;)

Still in business...check out this offering: http://cgi.ebay.com/6-EXTRA-WIDE-PORTAB ... 5ade6b64ad

It's a large dog ramp. There are other ramps available.

The item that I bought from this person was about 1/3 the price of the Petsmart store item. It wasn't identical, but similar in size, shape and construction. :thumb: :thumb:

Our little doggie (Boston Terrier) needs to be lifted; he puts his paws on the rocker panel, looks at me and waits! He can jump out OK BUT...
I would not let a big dog jump out of the escape, esecially an older big dog. If you can't lift your dog out, make sure it learns to wait for the ramp. Co$t of ramp << co$t of vet for an injured dog!

I got my dog at 2 years old he came with existing injuries.
Spent literally thousands on him to date an I'm sure there will be more bills.
Only had him 2.5 years.

Lookedd at a few ramps in the stores and they're all too big. Sure they work but where do you put them. Still on the hunt

Hence why I posted this link:

Way less expensive, and they fold as well. I'm thinking about going towards a "nini-van" once I retire and travel. The kids will be coming with us where ever we choose to go, and the little SUV just isn't large enought to carry the kids, and luggage on a long trip. Right now I lift them into and out of the back of the Tribute. If they ride in the F-150, they clamor out the door from the floor and make the short leap. (Older pickup is much closer to the ground than the newer trucks.
