I set my dome lights to the DOOR mode earlier this week to try and get them to turn on when the doors open and shut off when I turn the car on. The manual states that they remain on for 25 seconds after the door opens in this mode. Problem occurs when I put it on DOOR mode, the light stays on for ~3 minutes after the door opens/closes and it does not turn off when the car is started. Light for the cargo area also does not light up when the hatch is opened in DOOR mode. Both work as they put out light in the ON mode but I am confused as to why they will not properly operate when I put them in the DOOR mode. Any suggestions?
