 What's cool is that R. Lee Emery was an actual drill sargent before starting his acting career.
R. Lee Ermey was a United States Marine Corps Drill Instructor. I am a civilian but have friends in the Marine Corps, calling a D.I. a Drill Sergeant can be hazardous to one's health!

I've seen that commercial a few times on the TV. It's always made me chuckle a bit...

Drill Sergeant is Army. Drill Instructor is Marines. Technical Instructor is Air Force. And I do not know about the rest of the services.

He reminds me of a Drill Sergeant that I had when I went into the Army. :wall: The GEICO commercials are pretty good.
