I was happy to hear that Limiteds had dual-note horns again when I drove the first 2010 Limited I could find. Even our Fusion has one, so I was surprised (shocked?) that single-note horns were installed on some 2008-2009 Escapes.

I've never, ever thought about this... what does a single-note horn sound compared to a dual-note?

Did you notice the brake lights reflecting off the ceiling and support beams?? I'm going to have to go see if the amount of light was exaggerated by the camera or not.

Just won a dual note horn on ebay from member ford_parts_depot. Part #9L8Z13832B. It was $34.68 Buy it now, with $7.99 S&H. I thought that was an excellent price. Don't know if they have anymore on hand or not.

Only Limited Escapes and Premier Mariners come with a dual-note, and that's 2010 and after. Everything else has a single-note.
