My dash on my 2001 Escape is always getting dusty. I wipe it down at least once a week, but it never stays clean. :wall: I always take care of the inside of it (washing windows, vacuuming, etc) but the dust always builds up. Would replacing the cabin air filter fix this, or is it common. I've never had this bad of a problem with my other cars.

Yeah it's the cabin filter. You might not have one in there.

You are correct, I did not have one. I installed one and so far, it has stayed dust free.

Wipe down the dash with a Bounce dryer sheet. I read somewhere that it helps with static electricity which attracts dust and holds onto the dust.
