i used dynamat on my festiva with slightly good results and was referred to quiet coat on the festiva forums. Big difference and i just sprayed it on directly on the dynamat. 2 gallons goes a long way and with a spray gun i did my hood and undercarriage and wheel wells and reduced interior noise by 6DB. Engine noise was even quieter then a honda civic. A festiva quieter then a honda civic thats crazy. its used by jaguar to save weight and reduce cost. Try it you wont regret it.

how much sq ft do I need to dynamat my 4 door, headliner, and the back door... That will help a lot with the SPL...
