Hello. I am a new 2006 Escape Hybrid owner. I am installing a new stereo (Pioneer AVH-3200BT) and it requires a hookup with the parking brake line. Does anyone know where this is? Thanks.

There is likely a switch near the base of the parking brake lever. It will turn on the 'brake' warning light on the dash when the parking brake is engaged with the ignition switch in 'run'. At least I think it does.
They generally are a normally open switch that closes when the parking brake is applied. That supplies ground to the bulb in the dash in most designs.
If you work the 'boot' from around the base of the lever in the console, you should find the switch.
Why would Pioneer want to know if the parking brake is applied?

For the DVD units, the manufacturer makes the green wire to attach the the e-brake signal. That is the trigger that allows the DVD to be played.

If you want to avoid that, do a relay by-pass. That is what I did. Do a quick google search on AVH-4200 relay bypass. There are a couple of good step by step videos. It is the same procedure for the 3200BT. I did it on mine and it is super easy. Much easier than tying it into the e-brake.
