I am in the process of searching out a dash kit as well. I just inquired on 2 samples to decide on. Looking at the aluminum or brushed aluminum kit. I have the stone interior and some of the pieces stock are a grey color - such as the top of the middle console, center console and arm rest areas. I figure more of that color would look sharp.

I just grabbed one last night. Brushed aluminum. Some of the ones I have seen don't have the 4 door handle pieces which to me is one of the best pieces. I got mine from mojoparts.com and I got the full kit including the navigation middle section for when I upgrade the HU. I will install about 80% of the kit. Some of the pieces I won't install as I like the stock textured color of the dash (Pieces 8/9). Flat surfaces like the center floor console and armrest areas will look awesome in aluminum. The center stack pieces I will save for later on.

Here are the parts:

Dude! Post some pics when you get it installed. I am very interested to see how it turns out.

Here are some aluminum samples. I chose the one on the right. The other two have a really think look to them with the additional clear coating on top. I like the raw look better. Looks much better in person than the scan shows. In reral life it looks like a new shiny nickel.

Once you get it installed, Please post a picture. I'm not too fond of my Camel interioir but thought that if one of these kitts look good enough, it may tone down the brightness of my interioir.

I will definately post up pics. I won't have all of the pieces in until I put in the new HU with the new bezel. Plus it was to get about 10 degrees warmer before I can do them. The company I am getting them from has been great to deal with. They are very attentive and got back to me very quickly with questions about the exact dash kit. Some differences with the Sync button, Hybrid and navigation pieces. Plus they have the 4 extra door handle parts in the kit that I wanted. Some kits out there have less pieces.

Well the kit came in and I will be sending it back. One piece had a krinkle in it and it didn't fit. The shifter cover was wrong and has an extra slot. I spoke to the dealer and sent him the pictures. He said that I can return it as it is wrong. Too bad as the rest of the pieces looked good. I may try another manufacturer in the future...

well if it doesn't look great than you can just peal it off
Yes and no. The adhesive accelerator really makes the tape stick. You could damage the factory pieces by trying to remove them if you don't like it.

Sinister Mob: What about around the door handles? How does that look? Could you tape it up and snap a pic? Also curious how it looks around the air vents.

Thanks!

I sent the whole kit back and got my money back. I did hold them up to the door handles when I had them and they looked pretty nice. But what I didn't like was being able to see the black underneath the aluminum face. I may try another kit later on.

Yes the company I dealt with was very good. They get the kits from the manufacturer who screwed it up. I should have known when they asked about the Sync logo on the center console and not having mfg specifications foir it. But I gave it a shot knowing I could return it. They even credited back my PayPal for the return shipping. Classy company in my book.
