I have a 2010 Escape Limited with factory stereo. I cannot find squat on about it's stereo spec's, brand, runs, etc. I am wanting to upgrade it with a couple of Alpine amps a sub and possibly some tweeters for now. The front speakers are not good at mid-high range, so those might go. I have the sub/amps from previous install. I want to keep the HU for now, then possibly upgrade. From what I read you guys have that info so it can help me figure out what to do. The Alpine amps are the F300 and M500. Can this be integrated with the existing system? Do you know what are the factory speakers specs are. I would really appreciate it.

Check out my posts on the subject, which will enlighten you with regard to your questions on speakers and HU, and hopefully more. I have no reason to believe that the 2010 and 2008 radios are any different.

From there, with you caught up to the basics, we can do some actual work.
