So I've been looking at the various models of escape, similarily the limited XLT vs. the Hybrid XLT, and one thing that I noticed, which I find VERY odd, is that you can't buy the hybrid with the premium 7 speaker audio system, does anybody know why?? I know the subwoofer is probably not the BEST, but I'm sure it's a lot better than nothing, and it sucks that if you're gonna buy this premium,l expensive *** escape hybrid, you can't at least get the nice audio system too

Has anybody been able to compare these first hand, maybe compared hybrid vs. non-hybrid at the dealer lot to see why maybe this might be?

My 05 hybrid did come with a seven speaker setup. I replaced all the components, added sound deadening material in the doors, floors, cabin area and under the hood which quieted the cabin area and improved on the sound quality. FYI there is no Hybrid XLT.

After a buncha playing around, looking at build sheets and stuff it does look like you can get 7 speakers + hybrid! Thanks for the pic and info!

And yeah, I know there's know hybrid xlt, I was just comparing the limited hybrid to the XLT gas escape because those were the only models that in words actually mentioned 6 speaker+sub on fords website
