Do all of the Escapes have the same floormats? I'm looking to buy some OEM mats, and some places say theirs will fit 2001-2005 while others will say they will fit 2001-2010. Surely they are different...right?

I have a 2002 and a 2008. The floor mats are different.

I think a lot of changes happened in 2006,07, then again in 08.

Although there are a few different styles of floor mats in shapes and materials. They will all fit any 2001-2010 Escape. The floors are 99% the same in all years. I have all weather mats from 2009 in my 2004. And the countours of the side panels follow the contours of the mats and everything lines up.

that is great to know. Allows for more choices. I just purchased a set f heavy FORD floor mat thats that i think would pretty much fit any rig. But since the floor mats design has such a minimal design change maybe older years advertised will be less expansive then a set advertised as fitting 2010. Less money means more stuff in the future :thumb:

Whatever you do, buy custom fit mats. Generics will not fit properly. I bought Hexmat floor mats from AutoAnything. They were advertised as being cut perfectly to fit the 2009 Escape XLT, but... let's just say there is room for improvement. Overall, not bad mats... but they could fit better.
