With a 2008+ Escape, if you have the factory wiring, you'll need to replace your headlamp switch, then plug in the factory fog lamps.

To check for the factory fog lamp wiring, look behind the plugged factory fog lamp openings in the front bumper cover for connectors. If you have them, then remove the headlamp switch (viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1510&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p30881) and check the wiring to the headlamp switch connector. If you have a total of either 8 or 9 wires on the headlamp switch connector, and if you have a BROWN wire and a BROWN WITH WHITE STRIPE wire on that connector, all you need to do is buy the factory fog lamps and the correct headlamp switch.

Also, your Escape may also be wired for automatic headlamps. Check here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1497&p=30882&hilit=2008+fog+lamp#p30882

The part numbers:

7R3Z-15200-A - 2008-2010 factory fog lamp ($72.08 each)
8L8Z-11654-BA - 2008-2010 factory headlamp switch with fog lamps, without autolamps ($48.67)
8L8Z-11654-CA - 2008-2010 factory headlamp switch with fog lamps, with autolamps ($48.67)

Those prices are from http://www.parts.com as of this morning.

One member has the headlamp switch for sale: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5007&p=88905#p88905. You'll have to ask him about shipping, though, since he did mention that he'd like to ship only to the 48 states.

Good luck!
