Hi

I have a 2009 Escape xlt 3.0 . I just installed Atoto f7 Aftermarket radio apple carplay in it and look like its sounds bad than the factory radio. The factory radio sound was very clean and the bass depth was very clear. Do you guys recommend installing new speakers would help gaining better sound or should i change the aftermarket radio? Any suggestions which aftermarket carplay could sound better than the factory one ?

OEM was the simple single CD 4 speaker setup, or the 7 speaker audiophile with sub?

The standard one, or they have SE, XE, Extreme, etc?

See a few reviews for poor sound, but not many. Who knows how others have installed it, using an amp, the OEM amp, or the head unit driving the speakers.

Says it has a 4x24w amp for 4-8 ohm speakers, not sure what the factory ones are.

I had an Atoto a couple of years ago. I returned it immediately and won't buy another Atoto ever. Junk radios in the long haul.

Standard your Limited has 6 speakers. With moon and tune package it has 7 speakers with the sub.
XLS/XLT standard have 4 speakers, with optional 7 speaker system in the XLT.
