I took these shots without my tripod. It depends on the situation. I used different angles and began zooming in. This model is the Ford Focus XR5 Turbo.

Have checked ford's web site. They indicate, it has the upgraded Duratech turbo charged 2.5 litre four cylinder.  :thumb: Greetings Latan and Brent. It's confusing as to why, ford could not include this engine for our down under escapes. On all other focus models, the engine is a 2.0 litre four cylinder.

Fords marketing strategy baffles me. Would love to give it a test drive. Can imagine this turbo charged 2.5 litre, would give the rice burner fan boys something to think about. I am not bagging ' Rice burners '. It is each to his own. That new model " FIESTA " is just a bit too squeezy. The new " Focus " appears to be more of a medium size.

This is a normal shot without zooming lens barrel.

This shot was done as a zoom in . I allways leave my ' Vibration reduction' lens switch enabled.

For the last photo, i chose to do it as more of a frontal view.

Quite a sharp looking sedan, that's for sure.

I'm not in love with the silver paint. But the car looks like it's already moving, just sitting there.

I agree. I wish the local Focus looked that good. I'm also not a big fan of silver but it is easy to care for...

Mondeo.

I prefer Holden to Ford. ;-|

Anybody catch episode 2 of the second series of Top Gear Australia? That supercharged HSV Clubsport sounded amazing. Every time on the straights you hear it going "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" like it burns babies instead of gasoline.

They were right about it being Australias best secret performance car. And the improvement on the lap time when they changed to the smaller rimmed/higher profiled tyre surprised me. I didn't realise that those ultra low profile tyres were worse performance.

The styling of the optional bonnet scope is similar to the original walkinshaw commodore.

Now -- that's a nice looking Focus. I don't know what Ford is really thinking over here. If there's a market for a $25K Cobalt & Caliber, build us a fast Focus.

On second thought, maybe Ford was the only smart one. Dodge and GM aint doing so well :(

Is a meat pie like a pot pie?

 I had to look up what a pot pie was.

A pot pie is a type of baked savory pie with a bottom and top completely encased by flaky crusts and baked inside a pie tin to support its shape.

This is in contrast to the Australian meat pie and many British regional variants on pie recipes, which may have a top of flaky pastry, but whose body is made from heavier, more mechanically stable shortcrust, hot water crust or similar pastry.
