I dunno too much about them. I have seen their products on motorcycles, and Mustangs. Maybe a few other cars as well. That's about it. At least they are not totally unknown, but I have no idea to their quality or how well their products perform.

That's a lot of money for brakes! I would also like to see something brembo or stoptech. Though I'd be more than happy with some stock sized brembo slotted rotors and EBC green stuff brake pads.
To be fair, if they actually did perform well, that would be a reasonable price for a quality kit, in fact that would be cheap for a quality kit... lol but I wonder just how good they would be on an escape...

As for brembo's.. do they make brembo blanks in our sizes? I figure they do, and even though everyone has their own ideas about D/S and C/D rotors, the blanks are still quality.

I agree that we don't really need them, but we already have vented discs.

It would make the front look better for those who have big blingity wheels.

How much do the vented disks go far? Do they make a big differance and save on pads? :tease:

Yes, yours are. I don't think we're talking about the same thing. Vented discs are just discs that have vanes between the two contact surfaces and allows air to travel in between. Every single modern car on the road, as far as I know, has vented discs.

NOPE! Just checked solid front disks with no lines cut in them. You dont mean the scores on the disk face? U mean the ribs in between?

"Lines cut in them" are slotted discs, not vented discs. Is your front disc one solid chunk of steel? If it is two steel plates with air pockets in between, then they are vented. The only place you will find non-vented discs are on the rear of a four-wheel disc setup.

I went from OEM discs to slotted Brembos done by KVR, and they made a difference in stopping power. I had recently switched to Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads before that, and the grip wasn't as great as the OEM semi-metallic pads. The slotted discs brought performance back up to what it was before.

Slotted discs will wear your pads faster. Part of their method of providing better stopping power is shaving the pads to remove glaze.
