I have a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid..needing to replace the fuel pressure sensor...but don't know where it's located...can I get some help here...and maybe a photo of the area...thanks in advance for the help.
Dunno 2009, but the 07 models had the sensor on the fuel line, in-line, passenger end of the engine. I expect that the sensor would be the only sensor in the fuel line with wires coming from it. If you work back from the fuel injector manifold following the supply line, you should come across it. If you are replacing it due to an engine running problem, be aware that the fuel pump more than likely has a 'fuel pump driver' module that supplies power to operate the pump. I believe they are PWM drivers that diddle with regular DC voltage and send 'pulses' to run the pump motor at a speed that produces the pressure desired. Unless you know the sensor is bogus, the FPM may be involved in a fuel pressure problem.
