As you all may know the Escape has never had a manly sounding horn. Well I'll be taking care of that hopefully this weekend when I install these

Hella Supertones

Two tones of pure awesomeness 300mhz and 500mhz respectively.

I need to find a location to mount them, not many options on the '08 model. I will post up the before and after video's when I actually get to wiring them up.

No problem!

You should be able to find the 2-pin connector with the YELLOW with RED STRIPE and BLACK with GREEN STRIPE wires just below the driver-side headlamp, behind the bumper cover.

Well I'm currently away from home on a TDY. I have no tools with me so they probably won't get done for a few weeks. Yes I kind of dropped the ball. Besides I need to make some brackets to mount them anyways.

unfortunately this has been put on the back burner. I kind of jumped the gun, and now I have two horns just sitting around. Hopefully I'll have them on before the end of the year though.

I have all next week off, so it may get done then. If so, I will post up pics.

I was considering those ' Train Horns '.
Have changed my mind.
My service tech, checked out the engine bay.

There is, no where to mount them.
Those "Hella Super Tones", would be an alternative.
