I have a 08' 3.0 XLT. Chassis has approx 215,000 miles. Newer engine has 65,000 miles.

I recently replaced the Manifold-cats since they were clogging up the mid pipe cat.

Exhaust manifolds came from a 81,000 mile part out and I have power again!..... Just not enough though.

Only thing I can think of is maybe the rear muffler is probably clogged from previous issue?

I recently replaced the fuel filter and was quite dirty. I read on google that weak spark plugs can cause power loss? HELP!

If the front cats were clogged, I'm gonna say yes to the rear
I do tuneups every hundred K, I don't notice much difference, but I like it like that. I follow factory maintenance intervals on almost everything.
if the donor engine only has 81000, I would at least pull plugs, clean them up and see how they look.

Ok! So, I removed the rear muffler and there was no change in power. So I put it all back together.

When I press accelerator, It just isn't as immediately responsive as I feel it should be.

I removed a few spark plugs. Here are some pictures for you guys to check out. Let me know if they are good?

I also checked the air filter. It's clean.

No check engine light yet, but if there is, I will update.

My friend,
Do you know you can Google what does a healthy spark plug look like, and you will be provided with pictures

They show everything from a normal plug, to one running rich, one with oil/cylinder head problems…
I love this city, but you need to do your own homework escape 30
These spark plug identifying pictures also happen to be in the back of every chiltons manual produced

I will tell you your plugs are normal, provided they all look the same. You will need to do more diagnosis

BTW the rear muffler is not the rear catalytic converter. The mufflers are usually close to the exhaust tip, you will see a smaller can upstream… Usually mid body
it will have a sensor plugged into it, and a wire coming off of it
mufflers do not have wires
