When I turn right, my Escape is creaking almost like a creaky old door. It is really loud. It is coming from the front. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to resolve it? Thanks in advance!
The most common thing to start giving problem in the front suspension is the sway br links and sway bar bushings, then the ball joints. There are troubleshooting and repair threads for these here.
I took off the front tires to do some checking and noticed that the front tires were feathering. They are wearing properly, but feathering. What would cause this? I dont see anything wrong. Thanks!
It was the outer tie-rod end. A tiny little squeak can really echo. $17.00 and an alignment, and I am really liking this Escape. Glad I bought it. Now we are looking for another to replace my fiance's focus. Thanks for the replies!
