well after a couple hours of work i finally got my headrest monitors installed wired up and working,.actually the headrests i bought match the old ones almost perfectly Only abit of a difference in the grain of the leather but overall a nice stock apperance,, the monitors were 7" and are nice a bright and clear. I was pleasanlty surprised once i put in a dvd, I will definetly post some pictures later today! on the downside though i had my hand behind the stereo trying to plug in the rca and ended up hooking my ring on a bracket and it pulled off my ring and it fell someplace behind the dash, and for close to 30 minutes i looked for it with no luck,,never fails always something has to go wrong,oh well i will take a closer look todayand see if i can spot were it landed, pictures to follow today...Dino

thats funny it does look broken in the picture, must be some sort of glare from something that gave it that effect, and nope the headunit doesnt have nav, I have the tomtom above so i wasnt realy to fussy if the new jvc had a nav system or not, Dino

no you can buy monitors seperatly , and i actuall did a set for a neighbour a year or so ago, and they turned out good as well. but I got the monitors installed in headrests for alot cheaper than you can buy a set of mountable 7" monitors so it was cheaper for me to go this way inthe long run, Dino

I have video rca plugged into the back of the headunit and the power and ground are wired into the headunit as well, running the wires from the headrest down the inside of the seats was abit tricky, but i used a wire coat hangar and feed it through first in the top of the headrest post hole down to the bottom of the seats were i found a little opening that was there then i just taped the cables to the top of the coat hangar and pulled it all through to were it came out the bottom of the seat, i then ran all the wires under the center console all the way up to the dash (still cant find my ring behind the dash) it went actually all quite well Dino
