I was looking to see if I could put heated side mirrors on my 2010 escape XLT ?

I know limited has them and was wondering if they had all the wiring in place on xlt?

I thought about this once. I believe the wiring in the connectors is different, but if you wanted to dig up all the stuff for them off a junked Limited or something (mirrors, wiring, connectors, and all), you could probably get it done. It would probably be tedious, but nonetheless rewarding.

My XLT has heated side mirrors, was supposed to get the heated seats too but for some reason I only got the heated side mirrors.

I think JP has a link to a place on here where he talks about how he installed non-OEM mirrors that were heated, as well as having the < or > turn signal indicators on them. I've been wanting to do this to mine, and he had thought that the wiring harness might very well be in the door panel or under the floor plastic guard by the door (if I recall correctly) - but I haven't taken the time to look for it as of yet. I have an '09.

Muth turn signal mirrors made by MITO Corp. at this link: http://www.mitocorp.com/muth-turn-signal-mirrors.html

is what you are looking for. However, the vehicle fit guide only lists the 2001-2007 Escape vehicles as "fittable".

An universal wide signal mirror at this link: http://www.mitocorp.com/muth-signal-mir ... angle.html
might work on the newer Escape models.

Note, one can also obtain a reveiw mirrow with backup camera insert at this link: http://www.mitocorp.com/auto-dimming-mi ... splay.html
