Hello everyone, sorry I've been gone for a little while, but as most of you know, Malia and I have been expecting the birth of our first child. It is to our great delight to welcome/introduce Olivia Elyse Davis into the world! She was born via a scheduled cesarian on the 15th of May at 08:39, with a birthweight of 6 pounds.

Here she is:

After experiencing 5+ days with her now (2 of them at home), I gotta say that I'm totally hooked, and I'm totally in love with this little lady. Even with the diapering, crying and spitups and sleep depravation I wouldn't want things to be any other way. Looking forward to spending my current vacation at home with her and her mommy, and get to know her and bond with her.

I'll post up new pics of her, and also of the L'il Lincoln with all it's baby stuff installed sometime soon.

Thanks for all of the awesome comments, we all appreciate them!

I will have to post some more pics of her as time goes by, as she's changing everyday (her eyes are more hazel now instead of blue when she was born, and her skin is turning darker too...darker than mine now, but she will still likely be Mullatto when she's bigger/older).

Gave her her 2nd bath today (first one at home, and that went really well). I'm getting better at Diapering (though it wasn't as hard or a pain at all like people mentioned in the firstplace), and better at swaddling her too. Everything is slowly getting easier, and I love all of it.
