Good morning everyone !

I own a 2009 escape for 3 years now. Its the Limited trim with a bit over 150 000 km

I have a really..weird problem…
When im cruising on the Highway or betwen 30/70 km/h. I got a wrench light up on the left of the dash, my fuel light turn on ( im on full gas), check engine light on and my MPG / Odometer turn into a line.

Ex :

— — MPG
—— —— —— km

I get really rought shifting between P,N,R,D,L
And when I accelerate. The car move but verry slowly at full throttle. He give me no code on a Amazon OBD II.

I have change 2 PC (computer on the top of the engine bay) and the Speed sensor connected to the transmission.

The easy fix for this is to turn off the car, remove the key from the sterring, open the doors, lock it and the restarting it. 50% of the time it work 1st try and the truck return to normal for a couple of days before restarting all the saga…

Do you guys know what can cause this strange thing ?
I got video of the truck if you need it, just ask me

* BTW sorry for my bad english, It is not my first language! *

You need a better, more capable scan tool to get better data.

An OBDII interface with Forscan (with free extended license) is a very good option
What SHO said is very useful in that it will inform if the trouble can be isolated by error codes that have been encountered an then stored.
My first impression is that you have a bad connection, bad ground, bad power source, or a problem in the speed sensor circuit. Given that the odo, mpg etc blank out, they could be deprived of input, or the cause display to reset. Given that the transmission goes nuts,(tech term), it is possible it is losing its information from the speed sensor. Without that the shift action will likely go to default settings.(limp home mode) I do not know the flow, but the odo data is stored, and the fuel consumption needs current odo input to do any calculations. Chase that and things will likely improve.

Try this it might fix it and it is easy to do.
Resetting the PCM's KAM isn't going to address whatever is causing the intermittent fault.
