My eldest son has dropped a bit of a calamity with the Maverick
He was pressing various dashboard buttons, but somehow he has managed to break the Hazard warning light switch.
Is there anyway of fixing this, or does anybody have a spare one for sale, as my Ford dealer has quoted me £75.00 for a new one, and there are none on eBay, or indeed any scrapyards.
It's a 2001 to 2003 version I'm after.

Have you dismantled the steering column cover to have a look see at what is kaput? Could be you just need some epoxy to reattach the parts to each other.

If you need me to fetch this part, I might be able to help you there. But not till next week, kinda nutty busy right now.

Right, managed to post some pictures of the offending part.
Basically, the pink plug is ok, but the rest (i.e. the switch mechanism and dashboard button are beyond repair, believe me, I have tried.

P.S., Jonas1022, is your offer still open, willing to pay via Paypal ;)

Offer is still open! No paypal, maybe just a check? PM me the part number and I'll see what the parts dept at the local Ford dealer has available. If they have it, I'll mail/ship it ASAP. How's that?
