Hey,

I'm new here. My wife(I wanted it LoL) just got a 2002 Escape with 55,000 miles two days ago. My wife traded in her 98 Honda Odyssey with 212,000 miles on it. We wanted an Explorer but reading the reviews swayed me to get an Escape. Before we signed any paper work we took the car to a friend of the family mechanic and after about an hour long inspection he gave us the green light. He said the tranny had already been replaced which was a big plus. The car is beautiful. I own a 2006 Sentra Spec V also. I look forward to lightly moding it. Here are some pics:

Yea I'm tinting the front windows next weekend. I found some black tail light covers too. VA blows though so I don't know if thats a good idea. I do want it completely blacked out though.

Nice pics. It looks like they may have upgraded the transmission cooler, too. Good thing if the old transmission failed, as debris can build up in the old cooler and then kill the transplanted transmission. Most shops just put in a transmission fluid filter on the cooler lines, but this way works too. :thumb:

Nice looking SpecV too. I've heard some good things about them but haven't driven one. I personally had wished they styled them a little more "exciting."

Nice Escape! If you asked about the Nissan on just about any of the other sites that I visit you would be roasted...

Very nice Escape you have, would have loved to own a black Maverick, just couldn't find one..

The Nissan is nice too, is it the same as the Skyline that we have over in Britain??

Sorry, not really clued up on performance Nissans, quite rare over here...
