Hello. I don't own an escape but love my fords. I'm seeing what I can figure out about my friends 05 Ford escape to make it easier to sell. Forgive me now i probably don't know everything I should to get a great answer but it's worth a shot and I can try to get more info as I know that I need it.
He said he kept replacing the alternator like every 2 weeks and battery. Alternator would go out and the battery would boil. I do believe he was having the alternator changed to a new one each time or at least a couple times so I don't think its a fault alternator or voltage regulator. I seen the alternator gets its power from the PCM right? I don't know nothing about PCM just they're expensive. Can anybody help with this info or ask what ya need and I'll see if I can find out. Thank you
