I couldn't admit to being a model railway enthusiast now, could I? :stop:
Sure, why not?
In Britain, that is something that is done behind closed doors, generally by single men with B.O. problems whom don't have a social life to speak of, plus my wife is soooo ashamed of it!!!

My father is a model railway enthusiast... :worry: No wonder I only have a sister :(
So is Rod Stewart, and, of course, Pete Waterman

Reading, net browsing, off road exploring, long distance drives, two way uhf, photography but i am only a novice. Collecting ' Icom' radios but only when the budget allows it. Downloading mp3 music. I burn it onto blank disc. Henceforth listened to on the Escape mp3 cd player. Me is partial to " Progressive and Global Trance" music.

Modding the 'Little Tonka'. Trying to make her look more spunky than what she allready is. AAAAW!  :shades: Almost there. Have decided to replace current spottys with HID technology spotlights. Eventually will fit the chrome surround type sidesteps, so that she has that extra touch of elegance.

In context of off road exploring.

I mentioned ' Icom' in the previous message. They are made exclusively in Japan. This firm specialise in amateur and marine communications. They also cater for the commercial, cb and HF market. Here is my current set up. The handsets are an amateur IC-T90A, two commercial hand held radios as in IC-41S and IC-F4023T.

The uhf with large silver heat sink is a commercial rig. Model designation is IC-F2010. My amateur mobile radio is the IC-208H Dual bander.

This is the Icom 208H dual bander. Almost everything can be set up via my microphone.

This is a group shot of the family.

Gee, everything has been taken already...

I like doing a little of just about anything that has already been listed. Doing just about anything with my wife and kid is a given. Everything else is sort of a second best, keep my mind and body active type of thing.

1) cars-especially my Bullitt and associated club, shows, driving :play: , going places with my wife...

2) trucks- mostly I look, and dream about having an antique truck, but buying another (we do have the F-150 and the Tribute) would be too much tax on the wallet.

3) internet surfing and playing on E-C, IMBOC, F-150Forums, Farmville and Mafia Wars Games, and other sites.

4) work- Yeah, I know, it kinda surprises me too! I like working! Even though I am looking forward to retirement, someday.

I'd like to do some motorcycling, but like #2 above, it's a little beyond the budget.
