I am in DIRE need of an experienced member in the Houston, TX area who can get together with me next week (after Christmas) and let me PAY them a little something, or help me out of the kindness of their heart, to remove my stock radio from my '03 Escape. I cannot get it out after 3 weekends of futility and destruction and I DO NOT want to go to Worst Buy or a Car Stereo shop b/c I want to FIND OUT in person how this STUPID, ROTTEN, IDIOTIC, RIDICULOUS, PIECE-OF-CRAP, comes out of the dash.

Please don't tell me how to use the DIN tools. They don't work.

If you live around Houston and would like to help a brother out, let me know, and how much you might want.

I forgot to get din tools for mine so I just pulled the dash off and popped it out with two flat heads

That's most of my problem. I don't know how to get the radio surround, A/c cables disconnected etc off so I can get at the radio. Documentation is lacking and/or non-existent. Tired of screwing with it.
