I need to take the driver's door off of my 2008 Escape XLT. It has power windows and locks so there is a wiring harness that goes through the body. I can't figure out how to disconnect the harness. Does anyone know?

I believe it's just a plug, and my guess is that it plugs just inside the car, not in the door...

I figured it out. There is a small plastic plate behind the inside door handle that you have to snap out and it will expose the last screw holding on the door cover. Once you take off the door cover, you have to remove the entire wiring harness from all the components and feed it out through the hole in the door where the harness enters from the car.
