I have a 2009 escape 3.0L and want to install a hitch. Where does the hitch bolt on to? Also i noticed a secured wire harness with a female plug on the inside of my bumper. Would the be the trailer harness?

where do u get them and how much are they?
Check the link there in my previous post...that's where I got mine.
so its that easy? Just plug it into the harness behind the bumber and the trailer will have brake lights and turn signals?
I think so lol
I read that there is no power going to that harness and u need relays? If u did'nt buy the towing package? Can any one confirm this?
There is a good question!!
i only have 2 relays in the fuse box under the hood and there is room for 6. so i believe i need 3 relays but got to find them somewhere cheap?
yes you will need the relays that is for sure. Which ones I am not sure of and what the cost is. When I was looking at hitches the other day the guy said the other one that ties into your tail lights is the cheaper method...how much im not sure.
i just got the box that ties into the tali lights and power from battery as the relays are like 30-40$ ea. No thanks.

You made the right choice. On my 09 there was no power going to that plug without the relays. Howver, there was no wiring going to the relay plug in locations either. In order to install it that way, like factory, would have required a whole lot of work and a lot more money. Take a look at this post and you can see my pics and the info that lead up to it.

Yeah definitetly a good video, I used, what seems to be the same hitch. But on the back end bolts I had to drill one hole on each end of the hitch end.
