My passenger turn signal on my 2005 XLS burnt out, I cannot figure out how to get to the bulb though? I have changed the headlight easy with that little plastic cover on the back, but it seems as if the parking light/turn signal bulb is inside the fender... it appears you need to take the headlight out to get to it?!?

Anyone know how to change this bulb? Its really irritating me hah

LOL see manual:

headlight:

remove plastic cover and replace bulb etc

turn signal:

*See Dealer* LOL

its a Huuuge PIA to change this bulb but it CAN be done without removing the entire headlight assembly. or paying the dealer up the butt. you remove the plastic screw clips holding the plastic wheel well down, then pull back the wheel well. if you have really small hands you can juuust fit your hands up in there to change the bulb. beware though it comes out easy but took me roughly 30 min per bulb to get them back in because its such a weird angle for your hands to work in and be able to twist bulb back in.

Yea, I won't be taking the car to the dealer to replace a bulb hahaha

Thanks for that info, guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend lol Maybe I can get my wife's little hands up in there to change the bulb.

Wow, what a dumb design move that was  My Mustang's entire headlight housing pops out in literally 5 seconds haha
