I saw my 1st one on the streets a few days ago. It looks good. I can't wait to get behind a V8 version and listen to that motor. I still really enjoy the sound of the last GTO. I see quite a few around here so I'm hoping to see (and hear) a bunch of G8's too.

I was going through Youtube looking for Mustang clips and I cane upon the following video. It's a race between a stock 2011 Mustang GT and a tuned Taurus SHO. The chase car in the race is a Pontiac G8. Around the 56 second mark, you get to hear the cars as they go by the camera. The G8 sounds like a race car as it goes by and for the most part keeps up with the other 2. I figure it's got a few mods on it but it's still pretty amazing...

Cool! It should be fairly easy to pull off. The development for the G8 ute was basically complete when they pulled the plug on Pontiac. I hope they do bring some of the Holden products here for mass consumption and not just for law enforcement...
