Did a lot of reading before we bought it. The Escape is replacing a 2000 Toyota Rav4. It's for my wife. The room in that Rav4 was terrible. I never did like it. Rides rough too. The new Escape on the other hand is much quieter and smoother. It's an automatic 6 speed with 4 cylinder front wheel drive. We wanted the best gas mileage so other than buying a manual tranny or a Hybrid, this was it. It's white with camel leather interior. So far, the only complaint is the Escape was parked under some trees on the dealer lot and the trees dropped some little BB sized balls and they blew out all over the car the first time we turned on the vent blower. Took it back to the dealer and asked them to check to make sure it had a cabin air filter. They blew it out and told us the Escape doesn't have a cabin air filter. Is this correct?
