god, I've just noticed that you owned 2 of the Fuego things  , Big Chris.
To be fair, I was 17, just passed my test in Feb '92. The first one (which had no reverse gear) cost me £40. Ran it for about 3/4 months until all the brake fluid drained out and I drove into the back of my friend. :wall: (Relatively low speed, so no damage). My parents made me scrap it after that. And I got the Land Rover for £500 in mid '92.

The 2nd one cost me £200, that was a quick car. Only bought it as a runaround when the Land Rover went in the shop for a new gearbox, because the guy doing the work took ages. Had it about 6 months, it failed the M.O.T so I scrapped that one too.

Once I got the Land Rover back I ran it for a couple of years until it became to expensive to continue to run/repair. Then I bought the Cavalier (Total piece of s***. Put me off Vauxhall for life)

After having the Cavalier a year, I got the Sierra and have been a Ford man ever since. :thumb:

I hope and pray neither of your Vitaras were pink with a white roof and two Rhinos humping on the spare wheel cover!! :barf:
