an Escape!!!! :thumb: My fiance has had hers for about a month and a half now and I love it. I can really see now why people are such fans of them. I always liked them before but driving one(when she lets me) is so nice. I don't think I have a single complaint about it, I know she doesn't. Maybe a Hybrid is in my future?!?! Anyways, just felt like sharing that.

What a good idea! You should be able to find a good deal on one since the value of SUVs have dropped alot. What are you looking for in particular? V6 or 4? AWD or 2? A nice Norsea blue one like mine? Hehehe Have fun shopping!

You should look into the Tribute's. The Mazda dealers around here are more agressive than the Ford or Mercury dealers on the pricing. We have an new 08 Tribute instead of a Ford or Mercury because of that. :thumb:

Thanks crashnburn but I think I'll be looking for nothing older than 07. Probably new. I got lots of time to decide, getting married in July so no big purchases untill after that. So probably the fall. I keep going back and forth between what I want. I like my ranger but want a back seat, F150 would be nice but to hard on gas and their not cheap. I really like the Fusion but not sure if I could drive a car. An esacpe meets my needs but do we really need two of them?? What I really want is a sportrac(mmm Adrenaline package) but that puts me almost to F150 cost and almost same MPG. I have issues. :wall: :D

Notice that there all Fords!!!

Good point, twin cars are being cute, or redundant depending upon how you look at it. What are you driving now?

Experts advise to put off making major purchases after a life changing event. Marriage is one of the top five life changing events. Maybe you should ask yourself if you really need a new or another car now/just after getting married? ;)

I'm driving a 98 Ranger right now. It has 245,000 Km on it but still runs pretty good. I'm not sure if I need a new car right after getting married but the want is strong. I've been driving that truck since it was new and now it's time for a new ride. The want will turn into a need over the next year or so. We plan on having kids pretty soon and the ranger is a std cab that only seats two.
