Very sharp looking truck Chris !!! My husband drives a Dodge Ram Quad cab. Motor is the V-8 360. He averages 14 -16 mpg's. Luckily he works 7 miles from home. When he is sent out of town, then the company pays per diem. With the Hemi and 4x4 you are talking MUCH worse in the mpg department.

To be honest. I don't think a new car/truck is on the cards at the moment. I dare to dream.

The mileage doesn't really bother me as it'll get very little use. I only use the Maverick to drive to band rehearsals and gigs, we use my Wife's Fiat at all other times.

Insurance may be another matter though!

To be honest, his MPGs aren't much worse than many have reported for their Escapes! :worry:

Oh yeah. I've also had my eye on an SRT-10!! :thumb:
The SRT-10, Sweet !!!
Our insurance is already through the roof as we have two young drivers on our policy !!! Once they get their own policies it will feel like we got a pay raise !! :yahoo:
Hubbys truck is driven mostly to work. In the evenings and weekends we are cruising in my Escape !!

Dodge pickups = not so reliable

I work with three guys that each had a Dodge 1500, one was the Laramie edition. Two of them got rid of the beasts due to so many electric gremlins in the things. And yeah! It's a Hemi, and yes they suck mighty bad at the pump. :horse: The third guy was just finished getting his divorced finalized, so he can't afford to keep the beast, but he also can't afford to get rid of it either... :fan:
No problems from Dodge pickups here. Hubby's has 70,000 miles on it and no problems yet. Well, other than it is going to need a paint job. One of my brothers, a Dodge fanatic, has owned three in his life time. No complaints from him.
