It was luuurvely. I want it!

Sadly, unlike in the pic, it was boxed in by other cars, so i couldn't take it for a test drive.

I just sat in it, twiddled some knobs, got comfortable then daydreamed about driving it away! :)P

maybe it's a good thing. i reckon I'd have chucked him the Maverick keys and handed over the money there and then!! :thumb:

Very sharp looking truck Chris !!! My husband drives a Dodge Ram Quad cab. Motor is the V-8 360. He averages 14 -16 mpg's. Luckily he works 7 miles from home. When he is sent out of town, then the company pays per diem. With the Hemi and 4x4 you are talking MUCH worse in the mpg department.
To be honest. I don't think a new car/truck is on the cards at the moment. I dare to dream.

The mileage doesn't really bother me as it'll get very little use. I only use the Maverick to drive to band rehearsals and gigs, we use my Wife's Fiat at all other times.

Insurance may be another matter though!

To be honest, his MPGs aren't much worse than many have reported for their Escapes! :worry:

Oh yeah. I've also had my eye on an SRT-10!! :thumb:

That's not the worst of it. You have to add 17.5% V.A.T to that figure (Value added tax). So I'd be paying 18,700 pounds or there abouts!

Sadly, you have to realise that Britain is an extremely expensive place to live.

An entry level Ford Focus costs around 12,000 pounds.

It'd probably be cheaper to source a nice truck in the U.S and pay shipping duty on it, than buy one over here.
