Tan Hill is only 3/4 hour drive from our home

Yep, we are gripped in what has been described as the worst winter of the decade, max temp today was -4 celcius, consequently roads around here are covered in at least 3" of ice, great fun

Snowed in at a pub in North Yorkshire ... isn't there horror movies that start this way? You know cabin fever sets in and it all goes crazy from there!

There are worse places to be trapped of course.
Don't worry folks you'll get use to it. We may not like it but you do get use to it!
Thanks for that link Camus.
Destiny progresses in mysterious ways.
I reckon the pub, was a good place to be stranded at. :)
At least it isn't some unheated castle in the middle of nowhere... :)
Anybody thinking...

"American Werewolf in London"...???????

Whats unforgivable though, is the fact that it's a Black Sheep Brewery pub, and not Timothy Taylors   (now that would be heaven, trapped in a Timmie Taylors pub for a few days............
TT Pub?

Not your luck... ;)
It started snowing yesterday morning about 4am and hasn't let up. I just took the wife to work and it is still coming down. At least the plows are out. the temp. is 11 degrees with a healthy N/W wind blowing. :frozen:

Big strong blowing without any coughing?

 Sorry, just couldn't resist. It's a sign of a truly sick mind.
