I work at a Marriott and can do authorizations for the Marriott Friends and Family rates at most Marriott hotels! These include full-service Marriott, Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, TownePlace Suites, and Fairfield Inns. If you were planning on splurging, you can go to the Ritz-Carlson, JW Marriotts, Renaissance Hotels, hotels in the Marriott Autograph collection... but you have to be pretty ambitious.

The rate is usually twice what I pay. For example... Downtown Chicago JW Marriott. Normally $309 a night. Family/friend rate is approximately $189/night. I can get away with $89/night and during the end-of-the-year associate promo... $44.50.

The promo rate code for the Friends and Family package is MMF.

I promise that I'm not trying to sell anything... I am just throwing this out there. I wish I got kickback for this, but I'm just more interested in extended a helping hand where it can count. If you find something you like and want to pull the trigger, there is a simple form I need to get completed (and which I will fax to your hotel), but other than that, it's easy-peasy!

Actually, we are already used that promo code last year to spend the Christmas. Every time I have an appointment near the place, I stay there. I am already a regular user of their promo code.
