Our Aerostar van (aka mom's taxi) has gone bye bye and thanks to our government we got $4500 for it. :yahoo:
We have been negotiating this deal for a while but I did not want to say anything until all paperwork was signed. This baby is fully loaded and I have a lot of reading to do to figure out how to operate everything. Hubby is taking over the Escape and will keep his Dodge Ram for…..well, truck stuff. Anyway, I have lots of pics !!

Here is the interior...

Congrats!!! She's sooo pretty!! You'll have to give a complete review about this vehicle since it's been on my wish list!

At least the Escape is still in the family.....

Whoa! Congratulations! I love the colour.

There seem to be a lot of people who stick with the Escape/Mariner/Tribute once they've had their first.

Snuck up on anyone in stealth mode yet?

Thanks Squishy ! I would never sway from the Escape/Mariner/Tribute family. In fact, I am still in love with the Escape. But I am in real good with the guy who is driving it now  so I'm sure he will let me take it for a spin anytime I want. :thumb: :D

Awesome. I kinda like the color ;)

Just a few suggestions:
Visit Green Hybrid.com, Escape & MMH boards (More escape owners)
Trunk mat (Got my lightweight one from ebay)
& I love my side mouldings, blends in so well, a little peace of mind (tho I park far from rveryone!) and breaks up the boreing side.

I hear the 9's drop into EV so much easier/faster than all earlier models

Thanks, y'all !! :)

08hybridOk, I ordered a husky cargo liner as soon as we got home. I have always loved the looks of your side mouldings....hmmm....may have to put those on the to do list. And thanks very much for the website. I will definitely check it out. :) :thumb:

I ordered window visors from the dealer, and I also plan to make an appt. to have the windows tinted asap. I plan to take it to the same place that did the tint on our Escape. :)

Did the dealer only tint the rear windows - will look good with a full tint.
It's all tinted except for the driver and passenger windows. I will hopefully be getting those done next week !! :D :thumb:

Oh, JP, I am in heaven !!! I have got to force myself to get some stuff done around here today (including a cleaning of the interior of the Escape for hubby) BEFORE we climb in that thing. :D

Love the BLUE!

I think you did good in buying the Mariner. I would have gotten one instead of the Tribute, but our Mercury Dealer isn't exactly agressive in their dealings with the public. Same machine in a Mariiner would have been thousands more than the Tribbie. So we have a Tribute.

I do like the satin finish on the interior much more than the piano black that we have. Makes it look a little more refined. I also like the Mariner grill over the Escape or the Tribute's stock grills. I don't think you'll be wanting to change that one out for an aftermarket grill. Looks first class as is, same for the interior!

I have some stuff I need to get done first. But believe me, I'm dying too. We are planning to take a cruise later today. Hubby and I are going to the beach in it the end of August for our anniversary. (doing a long weekend) Just the two of us. I was planning to do a full review for it then. But I will post back after a week or so of driving it if you want. :)
