I installed one in my truck a few months ago and am very satisfied with it.

BUT!!!

Please know in advance what you want...

If you are generally satisfied with the stock radio and if you are like me and like to listen to mostly rock music, not too loud (I never go passed 50% volume) and want a nice filling lower end bass with some decent thump when needed, then the Basslink is an excellent add on.

On the other hand if you want to listen to dance or hiphop at top volume and expect bone liquefying bass, then you may want to look into something else (changing your entire audio system + big amps and subs).

I was wondering if the infinity basslink was a great aftermarket solution for my escape

Depends on your goals. On the year of vehicle you have, you can do a perfect false-floor build up if you want. You can run completely hidden, with quality amps, speakers, and of course, subs.

Remember, the right way to do a system is to "full commit", meaning proper deadening / sealing, head unit / processing, front stage planning and installing, proper amp rack, and proper sub stage. The difference between factory sound, and a properly done, properly tuned aftermarket system is night and day.

I'll help if that's the direction you want to take.
