Has anyone added features from newer Escapes to their 1st gen? I have a 04 XLT that I would like to add a hands free microphone (not the clip/lavalier style that came with my Pioneer head unit) to mine, and would like either the one that's included in the rearview mirror from 08-12, or one from like a newer Explorer or Fiesta that's in the headliner. My only concern would be the CAN-BUS, since the 01-04s didn't have that. Would this be an issue? Or would it be relatively painless (wire it in, fuse it, etc)?

My android head unit has a microphone built into the screen. It's a great way to modernize an older vehicle

Mine does too. But the microphone that came with it has a clip for the visor. I don't want that. I want it to look like it came with the car.
