I'm wanting to add the stock sub to my 08 Tribute. I've found plenty of 05-07's on ebay but no 08 and up. Just wondering if anyone knows if there's some chance that these might be the same part.

I would recommend going aftermarket. It will be much easier, probably cost less, and sound much better. If your 08 didn't come with one, you probably don't have the wiring harness. Furthermore, your stock deck may not even have the capability (empty plug in back) of running the factory amp/sub.

I wouldn't mind going with an aftermarket sub as long as I can mount it where the stock one goes. Any thoughts on how to achieve that?
