Taken today in Llandudno, North Wales, Britains only street cable car system, which recently celebrated it's 100th birthday....

And the view through the Mavericks windscreen (spot the polished bonnet :thumb: )

Oh, and here is a picture of my youngest child, Chris, whom recently celebrated his 1st birthday
(esp for Colleen and Dasha ;) )

Ok, but why anybody would be interested in the thing is beyond me...

Odie the family hound's story has been posted on here before, but to recap, 4 years ago when I was in the demolition industry, I was in charge of a large scale demolition project on a rather rough and downkept housing estate, and I found this little pathetic looking black and white puppy who was only a few weeks old, abandoned in an old garage, with no food, water and a concrete floor for bedding, and me being a softy felt sorry for him, and brought him home.....

Very nice! It's been a while since I visited Wales... it's a beautifull place!

He he, after visiting Llandudno, we headed home via the coast road, passing through Rhyll and Prestatyn, both of which are in dire need of investment, as esp in Rhyll, if the building isn't boarded up, it's either demolished or been on fire........

Wife never wants to go to Wales again

Wow, thats really sad :(

I visited a friend in Ruabon (south of Wrexham) a few times and he showed me around north Wales. I found it to be quite beautiful. We were all over the place but off the top of my head I remember going to Llangollen (cool steamer!), and Caernarfon where we visited the castle and the town/village.
