I'm planning on polishing my new Falcon this weekend. The owner before me did not know how to wash a car properly so now the car is covered in deep scratches/swirls :censor:

I did a quick test tonight on the boot and the results were ok but still not 100%. I'll try some different combinations of pads and products and post how it goes.

Pretty good job of restoring the luster and filling those pesky scratches! :thumb:

That Falcon has scratches deeper and worse than my 15 year old F-150! Sheesh!

"What a maroon" (think Bugs Bunny) that guy must have been! :(

I had good luck a year or two ago with Maguiers Three Step system: First step was Paint Cleaner, second was a Black colored Polish (black car obviously), third was Carnuba Wax. It was a 2000 Honda Civic a friend and I fixed up and sold for his sister-in-law. I would recommend looking into this.
