I'm not really a flower guy :worry: , but I'm finally starting to appreciate why my wife gave up cool cars for gardens. It really is healing sitting amongst the greenery after a more often than not, troublesome day.

I love the greenery, but hate bugs. I have about a two-week window during Spring and Fall where I can sit outside without things crawling on me. :D

Thanks for the replies. I'm one of those who might have gotten lost forever in a garage full of cars, tools, and the smell of 90 wt oil
I'm fortunate for having a partner with a different view on what makes the world go round, ... not that I'm going to start putting orchids and ferns in my workshop, but it might smell better.

Those are some pretty enticing photos. I wish our backyard stayed beautiful all year long. It does real well from April till about the end of June. Then everything looks a little toasty!

There are a couple of very nice Iris's in your yard. Count your lucky stars for those!

Wow! Very nice yard. Our foliage is doing ok, but with the heat and the water restrictions down here the lawns are looking dire.
