I've been browsing the forums for a little while now & finally got my butt in gear to register so thought I should say hi & introduce myself.

My name is Steve, I'm originally from the UK (who would have guessed, right.... ) & moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2005.

I have a 2001 Escape XLS with a 3.0, auto trans, 2wd in black. I bought it a month or so ago & after an initial power steering leak I'm liking it so far. I also have a 2005 Mustang convertible & a 2007 Mustang coupe (soon to be sold to pay for a Shelby CS6 conversion on the '05).

Anyhow, enough of me :boring: - I look forward to chatting with you all soon.

Peter from Markham, Ontario. Just traded my 2002 Focus for a 2009 Escape XLT two weeks ago. I've only got the I4 FWD, but it's more than enough for my needs. Prior to the Focus I drove a 96 Escort, 89 Tempo, 83 Acadian and 74 Valiant. The progression of comfort, convenience, performance and technology over the years just astounds me. I come from the era when passenger side mirror and cloth seats were upgrade options :lol:
